Maybe The Best Beginners DVD Available
The one that puts you in control of your own T'ai Chi training program
Howard is a superb teacher. I have learnt the short form from his excellent and painstakingly produced DVD. Being unable to find a style I enjoyed which was taught at a reasonable hour for me his DVD has been a godsend. I am only sorry that I cannot attend his classes in person. I thank him sincerely for his thoughtful and precise work.

Howard, Many thanks for your prompt response - I received the new DVD yesterday. As I have been struggling with "The Stork is Aroused" and "The Double Whip" sequences at my local Tai Chi classes for the last three weeks, I am pleased to say that I have now cracked it by following your crystal clear instructions on the DVD.
Thanks again, Mr. Joseph William Taylor
Filmed from four directions
All the short form moves are filmed from all four angles as well as having an audio section where Howard takes you through each of the 15 sets in the short form move by move, a beginners' dream.
It’s just like having a personal lesson right there in your own home
You could start by watching the introduction, that shows one of our class at practice first. Then go on to the training menu where you can pick any set of moves with audio instruction with Howard. This is filmed indoors to allow better sound conditions. If you are new to the set you may prefer this option.
Choose from four viewing angles
The set title runs at the top of the screen and as you watch and follow the numbers change along with the stances as you pass from one to the next. This makes learning them easier than ever before, a big bonus if you are a teacher trainee and also great preparation for those of you considering taking the next teacher training course.
Choose the left or right view and it’s as if you are standing next to Howard in the training hall following move by move. Each section repeats itself, so no need to keep fiddling with the remote.
Just let it run, it will repeat over and over (Howard’s stamina is amazing!). When you are ready press the menu button on your remote and move to another viewing angle or to one of the other 15 sets.
The back view is like following in class whereas the front view gives an excellent view of the hand and arm movements, so checking them is easy.
This will help you get a feel for the flow of the T’ai Chi Form
When you have learnt a few sets you may like to watch Howard demonstrating the complete short form and follow along as far as you have learnt. This will help you get a feel for the flow of our unique T’ai Chi Form.
Howard has worked long and hard on this DVD. And this new production has only been possible because of your support for his work and he would like to thank you for that.
